I vividly remember thinking, “Finn is a genius to use this to break up with Sophie.” Darkest Timeline y’all. Time for live / barely edited notes! Reacting to my notes. Alice shows her opened mouth shocked face. So instead, simple drama for season 3? Using Finn as a way to push the midseason plot? If there are eight episodes for season 3, episode 2 sets up a conflict, and in episode 4, Finn messes up. Attempting to reset a Bette and Tina plotline? I think that’s Dani and Gigi. It will shake out and we’ll see how she handles post-rehab, but I don’t quite know where this is going. I think that although the writers, again, left some breadcrumbs, this seemed a little forced, especially because they seem to be pro-Sophie after what she did throughout the season. #SophieistheWorst and Finn: Good for Finn because clearly she needs help, but hot damn she is a hot mess when she drinks.
I was definitely at the edge of my seat and Dani played it amazingly. POST-RE-READ: After reading my notes, I forgot about the great scene between Dani and her Dad.
Seriously, take those charges because your public image – nay, Gigi’s public image – relies on the fact you’re not ok with your Dad’s intentional blind eye. I was honestly shocked when I heard those charges, letting out an, “OH SHIT! Girl, you cannot testify.” But seriously, talk about loyalty, you were going to testify in favor of your Dad when you never asked what the charges were? Dani – get your head out of your ass and jog more. Kudos to the writing staff because I knew they had an ace up their sleeve and those charges were a doozy.

I think I yelled at the TV numerous times, ” Shouldn’t she be getting arrested?” This is the long plotline and I’m ok with it. MOVING ON!ĭani and Gigi: “If you don’t testify, you will be arrested.” Dani was arrested. He’s holding it for his brother Tim or whatever, not concerned because they’re going to break up Season 3 Episode 3. Shocker.Īlice and Tom: Guys and gals – that ring is a blatant red herring.
Either way, season three: Love finds a way to make it work over a long distance. Shane and Tess: Um, one question: Why can’t Shane visit Tess on the weekends? Per our watching party, “Why can’t Tess find an assisted living facility in LA? Why can’t her Mom, who can’t be by herself, move to a better facility? Lauren pointed out that sometimes, patients with Alzheimer’s are triggered by a change in environment, so there’s that. Not going to lie, I thoroughly enjoyed watching that scene implode. But you also spent 20% of your screen time showing us why Pippa was the better fit for Bette. Why are we spending two seasons and countless, “I’ve moved on,” to only reintroduce “You know, Carrie has cold feet.” Yea, you hinted at that. Speaking of which, they kept laying breadcrumbs of a Bette and Tina crossroad, but it was forced, at least in my opinion. If you look at the arc of the season, there weren’t too many surprises, outside Bette and Tina, which was introduced after the writers set up / wrapped up other plotlines in the previous two episodes. Overall, I have to say, not too shocking of a finale.
